York native Darrell Henry enters his 18th season as the “Voice of the Revolution” in 2025 and his 12th as General Manager of SportsRadio 98.9 FM and 1350 WOYK.
Henry joined the Revs prior to graduating from York College in 2007 with a degree in sport management, a minor in business, and a concentration in communications. He had to accept his diploma via mail, as the Revs were on the road at Somerset on the night of graduation.
In addition to Revs baseball, Henry has called York College men’s and women’s basketball games for the past 20 seasons on WOYK. He is also the voice of local high school sports on WOYK, and has served as a fill-in broadcaster on the Hershey Bears Radio Network.
Henry resides in York County with his wife Kristyn, daughter Peyton (13), son Connor (9), daughter Elena (6), and dogs Shadow and Batman.
Play-by-Play, High School Football
A York County native, Gareth has handled play-by-play and color commentary for WOYK’s High School Football Game of the Week for 13 years. A former Delone Catholic three sport standout, Gareth continued his athletic prowess playing tight end for The College of William and Mary.
Post college he earned his CPA, after obtaining a BS in Finance and MA of Accounting at William and Mary. He currently resides in Florida but returns to York County for the early portion of football seasons. He works full-time in commercial real estate doing capital markets.
